The JEDRO project addresses the problems of inadequate working conditions and the capacity of associations for sustainable community action in island communities.

Slide Murter Project vision Improving the working conditions, development and implementation of programs of local associations by transforming the space in the building of the Municipality of Murter-Kornati into a community center / coworking space for offices, meetings, educational and other events. Through the project activities, local associations will acquire social entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, increase its civic, social and economic involvement, and its (self)employability.

ABOUT THE JEDRO PROGRAMME

The JEDRO project addresses the problems of inadequate working conditions and the capacity of associations for sustainable community action in island communities.
The aim of the project is to improve the quality of life in the Murter-Kornati area as well as in its wider area by establishing a community development center. The JEDRO project will put into use unused public space owned by the Municipality, which will expand the range of services of general interest to the local community, but also create preconditions for sustainable development that is line with the needs of today.
